From January to March 1979 I backpacked in India and Nepal. I visited Delhi, Agra, Varanasi, Pokhara and Kathmandu and trekked for two weeks in the Annapurna region.
Many things have changed in the meantime. I noticed this myself, when I visited Kathmandu again in December 2000. Recently I could use a slide scanner for a while and decided to publish my more than twenty year old photographs from my first journey to Asia on the WWW.
Maybe it is interesting for you to see some impressions of that time.
