| One of my favorite pictures of this trip. Short before Pokhara we rested at the house of this nice family. When we left we bought a big bag of excellent weed from them for a couple of rupees. You can see the landlady wrapping it up.
Although our trek was a standard trek and we walked on a rather beaten path it was one of the greatest experiences I ever had when I was travelling. We couldn't take a shower for two weeks and brought fleas with us but it was worth it and I recommend it to anyone. I hope to return someday. As I heard you can even have hot showers nowadays thanks to solar technology... |
