We had to take many rests because we came directly from 600m height (Pokhara) to 2700m (Jomsom) and were going to 3800m (Muktinath) on the same day. Not the best idea of course and we felt very exhausted and had a headache.
Our equipment was rather basic. We had rented warm sleeping bags and mats at a shop in Pokhara were we had left most of our other stuff. Additionally just some warm clothes. No tent or food and cooking utensils as there were villages everywhere on the way. |
