Busses at Connaught Circus, New Delhi. At that time many people came overland from Europe with their vehicles. Some came with large busses and took passengers with them. In India they earned their living by driving between Goa and Kathmandu. I found a bus driven by an englishman, who was going to Kathmandu via Agra and Varanasi. It was more expensive than the train but it was comfortable and the bus was full of people from many different countries. |
